Webinars on new clinical guidance for pre and postnatal professional dancers
Delivered earlier in March - now replays in our affordable membership
In this two-part webinar series, Rachael Kuik (Pelvic Health Physio, Dance Mama Research Advisory Group Member), has devised peer reviewed (Bill Taylor) clinical guidelines for pre and postnatal dancers under the brand, Dancing Beyond.
Highly anticipated from industry professionals championing better support for dancers during the peri-natal period, Rachael will guide us through the guidelines over two sessions
Recordings of the webinars will be available to Dance Mama Silver Members via their members page on the Dance Mama website.

Physical Activity Awareness Sessions
This is an awareness-raising session about the Chief Medical Officer guidance for pre and postnatal activity in the UK and how we can apply it to dance contexts.
Created by Active Pregnancy Foundation and Institute of Health Visiting, Dance Mama leads this session for dance professionals only who are working directly with colleagues or participants who are either expectant or people who have birthed, taking you through the current CMO guidance.
Participants gain access to the exemplary digital tool kit in addition to the knowledge gained in the session (and a certificate!).
We are unique in being able to provide this opportunity in dance at the moment and it is a great step forwards for the sector in considering how to approach and support the pre/postnatal population when they dance.
Our Founder/CEO, Lucy McCrudden, delivers these sessions, bringing her expertise from her 20-year career in dance, her PhD knowledge and lived experience as a mum to empower and give agency to the dance sector to support and work with parents with confidence and facts.
All our own delivery staff have taken this session as a best practice standard.
